Magalir Urimai Thogai Not Received This Month
If your monthly ₹1,000 has not been credited this month, do not panic. Payments are released in batches and delays are usually due to bank-side issues. Follow this checklist to identify and fix the problem.
Top 7 reasons the payment did not arrive
Verify each one in order:
- Aadhaar not seeded with bank account (NPCI mapping missing)
- Bank account inactive, frozen, or KYC pending
- Payment credited to old / closed account
- Wrong IFSC entered during application
- Application put ‘On-Hold’ due to eligibility rescreening
- Ration card recently updated – re-verification pending
- Statewide batch delay (usually released 1st–10th of month)
Fix Aadhaar-Bank seeding (NPCI mapping)
This is the most common cause. Steps to fix:
- Visit your bank branch with Aadhaar and passbook
- Fill the ‘Aadhaar Seeding / NPCI Mapping’ form
- Ensure the bank marks your account as ‘Aadhaar mapped for DBT’
- Confirm via UIDAI: myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in → ‘Bank Seeding Status’
- Wait 3–5 working days for the next payment cycle
